The Government of India has launched the Scholarship For Top Class Education For Students With Disabilities. To provide financial assistance and other benefits to the students who belong to the financially unstable households and want to pursue higher education the Government of India has introduced the Scholarship for Top Class Education for Students with Disabilities. All the students who are pursuing their higher education from Top class institutes as notified by the government of India, are eligible to avail the benefits of the scholarship. The students can simply visit the official website and fill out the application form online to avail the benefits of the scholarship.
Objective of Scholarship For Top Class Education For Students With Disabilities
The main objective of launching the scholarship is to allow students to belong to financially unstable households to pursue higher education regardless of their disability. The students must have at least 40% disability to avail the benefits of the scholarship. All the students selected under the scheme will receive various benefits from the Government of India, including waived fees and other allowances. Students must be pursuing their degree in one of the 240 institutes notified by the government of India as a top-class institute. A total of 300 scholarships are available for the students to avail the benefits.

Eligibility Criteria
- The students must be permanent residents of India.
- The students must be a disabled student with a disability not least 40%.
- Only two disabled children of the same parents will be eligible.
- The students must be pursuing their postgraduate degree or diploma from a notified institute.

Required Documents
- Aadhaar ID or if not available, Aadhaar enrollment receipt.
- A disability certificate issued by the competent authority designated by the District Medical Officer/Civil Surgeon of the government Hospital.
- Parental income certificate issued by the designated authority as per the scheme (duly signed by the revenue authority, form 16 is not acceptable
- Copy of the previous year’s mark sheet.
- Tuition fee receipt.

- STEP 5: The students must enter the captcha code and click on the option “verify” to move on to the next page.
- STEP 6: Now the students must complete the eKYC process by entering the details that are asked and click on the option “next”.
- STEP 7: Now on the last page the students must enter all the additional details including their address, education and bank account details.
- STEP 8: After entering all the details, the students can click on the option “submit” to complete their process.
