About Post Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities
The authorities launched the scholarship to help the financially unstable students who want to pursue higher education after completing the 12th class examination, but cannot due to financial struggles. Under this initiative, the authorities will provide tuition fees and other allowances to the students to make sure they pursue their education from a recognisable Institute. The students were pursuing a postgraduate degree, including L.L.B/B.Ed/B.El.Ed. after passing B.A./B.Sc./B.E. are eligible to avail the benefits of the scholarship. All the students who have an annual income of less than INR 2.5 lakh are eligible.

The main objective of launching the Post Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities is to uplift the social status and standard of living of the students who belong to financially weak households. Through this scholarship, financial assistance will be given to the students, allowing them to pursue their education and build a solid future for themselves. According to the information, a total of 17000 slots are available under the scholarship for students who are pursuing postgraduate degrees or diploma courses. As per the information a total of 50% of the slots are reserved for female students.

Eligibility Criteria
- The students must be permanent residents of India.
- The students must be a disabled student with a disability not least 40%.
- Only two disabled children of the same parents will be eligible.
- Students must be pursuing coach graduate degree or diploma.

- Aadhaar ID or if not available, Aadhaar enrollment receipt.
- A disability certificate issued by the competent authority designated by the District Medical Officer/Civil Surgeon of the government Hospital.
- Parental income certificate issued by the designated authority as per the scheme (duly signed by the revenue authority, form 16 is not acceptable
