Eligibility Criteria
- The students must be a citizens of India with a valid Indian passport or proof of citizenship (PIO/OCI not eligible).
- Refugees/asylum seekers in India are eligible to apply.
- The students must have studied at an institution in India for at least 4 of the last 10 years.
- The students must have either completed school-leaving exams in India or be in the final year/completed a UG degree from an Indian university.
- The students must be between the age group of 18 to 23 on the first October 2025 or under 27 if a UG degree was completed after 1st October 2024.
- The students must complete a UG degree by July 2026 with grades meeting Oxford’s course entry criteria.
- The students must have a strong preference for first-class Honours or equivalent.
- The students must meet Oxford’s higher-level English proficiency requirement if English is not their first language.
- Only one of six scholarships may go to candidates who studied UG outside India or are inter-jurisdictional.

Selection Process
- Once the students fill out the application form, the applications will be thoroughly checked by the authority.
- After checking all the applications, the authorities will make a list of all the students whose applications have been approved.
- The candidates whose names are in the list will be called for an interview, which will be held one-on-one or via video conference.
- Now the final interview will happen, and a social engagement event will be conducted to announce the selected students.
