Eligibility Criteria
- Indian nationals who fall under the OBC, EBC, or DNT categories as announced by the Central Government, State Government, or UT Administration are eligible to apply for the scholarships.
- These grants will be awarded to students pursuing any accredited post-matriculation or classes taken after high school
- Candidates will only be eligible if they are members of the OBCs, EBCs, or DNTs as defined by the State or UT to which they truly belong.
- Candidates will not be eligible if they have completed one educational stage and are now enrolled in the same stage of study in a different topic, such as B.Sc. after B.A., B.Com. after B.A., or M.A. in one subject after M.A. in another.
- Students who are ineligible after completing their studies in a single professional field, such as LLB after B.T/B. Ed.
- Scholarships shall be awarded to no more than two boys who share the same parents or guardians.
- However, girls will not be subject to this restriction.
- Scholarship recipients who are enrolled in pre-examination preparation programs and receive coaching with funding from the federal or state governments will not be qualified to get stipend.
- Employed students are eligible for post-matric scholarships if their annual income, including the income of their parents or guardians, does not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakh.

- Step 1: To apply for the Assam Scholarship 2025, the candidate must go to the NSP website and click this link.
- Step 2: On the home page, choose “New Registration.” Click Continue once you have read all the instructions on the new page.
- Step 3: Click “Verify” once your cellphone number and other details have been entered.
- Step 4: To log in, you must now input your login credentials. The “Application Form” option must be chosen.
- Step 5: The application form will show up on the screen.
- Step 6: After entering the state of domicile, input the student’s name, date of birth, community or category, father’s name, Aadhaar card number, cellphone number, scholarship type, gender, religion, mother’s name, yearly family income, email address, etc.
- Step 7: You must choose the “Save & Proceed” option. Upload the files to the internet. The “Final Submission” option must be chosen. The application will be successfully submitted.
Renewal of Post Matric Scholarship to Obc Students Assam
- Step 1: The student must first go to the official NSP website, where the home page will appear, to renew the scholarship application.
- Step 2: Choose the Apply scholarship option from the drop-down menu on the homepage. Clicking on it will bring up the login page.
- Step 3: Click submit after entering your application ID or login and password. You must click on the Renew application after your profile has opened.
