The IKEA Social Entrepreneurship Scholarship was made for young people who want to do something good and make the world better by helping others who are poor or left out. All things like travel, food and hotel are being paid, so nothing has to be spent by them. People from many places will come and ideas will be shared by them. Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the program are as given below:
- Age should be between 18 to 30 years old.
- Must be founder or co-founder of a social business or enterprise.
- Work should be happening in Chile, Colombia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Poland, Romania, or Sweden.
- Must be able to understand and talk in English.
- The person should be doing work as an entrepreneur in things like reusing and recycling, giving jobs to all people, and fair farming and food for everyone.
- The person must show they want to do good in their community by using social business.
- Leadership should be shown, like being a role model for others.
- Must care about local or world problems.
- People from any country can apply for the scholarship.
Note: Mostly, people who join are between 18 and 30 years old. But if someone is older than 30, they can also be picked if their work is strong and they have done good things and want to take part. But people who are younger than 18 are not allowed to join the summit at all.
