The Gujarat state government has released the Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Merit List 2025. All the students of Gujarat state who have applied for the Gyan Sadhana Scholarship can now visit the official website to check the merit list by the Gujarat state government. With the help of the online system for checking the merit list, the students did not have to visit any government office, and waste their time and effort. The merit list will contain the name, student ID, and total marks scored by the students. The students just need to enter basic details to download the merit list PDF online.
About Gyan Sadhana Scholarship
The Gujarat state government launched the Gyan Sadhana Scholarship to provide financial assistance to students, allowing them to complete their education till class 12th without any difficulty. The main objective of the scholarship is to uplift the social status and standard of living of the financially unstable students and make sure they complete their education without any financial struggle. All the students who are studying in classes 9th and 10th will receive INR 22000 from the state government, and students studying in classes 11th and 12th will receive INR 25000 under this scheme.
Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Result Declared
On 2nd May 2025, the Gujarat state government declared the results of the Gyan Sadhana Scholarship. According to the information from the Gujarat state government, more than 4.82 lakh students of Gujarat state studying in class 8th appeared in the Scholarship exam. Out of the total students, a total of 480 students scored a total of 100 marks out of 120 in the examination. On the other hand, more than 2 lakh students are not even able to score 40 marks out of the total. It is necessary for all the students to score at least 60% marks to receive the benefits.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be students enrolled in government-approved secondary and higher secondary schools in Classes 9 through 12.
- Students need to have completed Class 8 successfully.
- This scholarship program offers rewards to deserving students who want to attend private schools, state-funded schools, or other accredited universities.

Benefits of Gyan Sadhana Scholarship
- The students who have been admitted to government-approved schools by the state government under the Right to Education Act and have completed their studies from Grade 6 to Grade 12 are eligible to receive benefits under this scholarship scheme.
- The fee for pursuing studies from Grade 9 to Grade 10 is ₹22,000 per year.
- The fee for pursuing studies from Grade 11 to Grade 12 is ₹25,000 per year.
- The students who are pursuing studies in any government or private unrecognized schools and are eligible for admission from Grade 9 onwards can benefit from this scholarship scheme.
- The scholarship is applicable from Grade 9 up to Grade 12, provided they continue to meet the eligibility criteria throughout this period.
- The tuition fee for pursuing studies from Grades 9 to 10 is ₹6,000.
- The tuition fee for pursuing studies from Grades 11 to 12 is ₹7,000.
- If eligible students from economically weaker backgrounds receive admission in government schools under this scheme, they will benefit from reduced tuition fees.
- For pursuing studies from 9th to 10th grade, the tuition fee is ₹3,000.
- For pursuing studies from 11th to 12th grade, the tuition fee is ₹4,000.

Selection Process
- The students will be selected based on their performance on the scholarship test.
